Direct on PC and Poor Service Delivery

I was extremely perplexed by the service provided by Direct on PC. For the past 2 months the service has been extremely poor! Even though I just upgraded our subscription to a higher bandwidth, the service is on is 52 weeks low (if I may borrow the terms used by Stock Analyst).

We used to be on 128-300 and after I installed more computers on our network, I thought upgrading would be the best option to accelerate the internet speed. Well, if I’d known I would have remained with the old subscription.

The dollar to naira exchange was the blame they lamented but as an organization I expected a prompt communication with clients. It was alleged that email was sent to our contact email. The email was obsolete and given the structure on ground, I had expected them to have my current email (having communicated with them several times using this email) to post the price review. We have been a client for almost two years and communication were done via my official email and that is expected to be the contact point for all issues relating to the billing.

Imagine keeping ur customer’s business grounded for 2 days! Well if I may let them know the lost we have accumulated during those hour, I think if we sue them for damages to the tune of 10m its not too much. Haven discovered what d problem was and still took abt 12hours to finaly fix it.

Its high time nigeria companies take quick response to critical problem their clients face. DOPC in my own view is not effective enough. Imagine all staffs resuming by 9am including the technical people. This I think is not good for a company that provides a 24hours service.

As we look forward for an outstanding ISP that can provide good and affordable services. This is a call that is urgently needed to be returned.


Lesson to learn

Direct on PC or any organization should maintain an excellent communication with their client. This is the age of social media and information are easily disseminated than ever before. Well, We may accept that they are not yet social media-enabled but atleast there should be constant communication with client to seek for current and accurate way to pass across information to them.

The internet is at its advanced stage and company that wants to play big in this age and industry to apply high standards to deal with clients.
