I have been waiting for this day, when the battle around the top internet market will shift to Africa, Nigeria in particular. 2010 has started on a bright note and many more events are expected to shape this year. I got a snoop from Loy’s blog about this event and went straight to Google’s site.
What is Google coming for?
I went through their agenda for the event here, the event’s major focus is to intimate developers with it’s products and also share its technology and product with marketers. These are needed to lay the necessary foundation for Google voyage into Nigeria.
Why should you be there?
This event is an indication that Google is interested in Nigeria and could be willing to work with local developers and businesses. You can also use this opportunity to network with other technopreneurs in Nigeria. You will also learn how to use Google Adwords and Adsense to make money and promote your business.
If you are a developer schedule your time; its between February 18th and 20th 2010, same month with Technology Outlook 2010. The event will take place at Afe Babalola Hall, University of Lagos.
