A Nigerian focused Social Networking Site (SNS) launched in February this year (2009). It has grown to membership strength of over 15,770 in less than 4 months. Based on Ning Social networking platform, it aimed to bring together Nigerians/Lagosians home and abroad. The founder Seye Ajagbe, has been a passionate Nigerian with focus on positive things that can be achieved online by Nigerians. The domain has been registered for almost a decade. I could remember when I met Him some 5 years ago and He shared with me His vision for the domain lagosians.com. I being relatively new at that time was thrilled at his vision and passion for a better Nigeria. Lagosians.com is currently being administered in LN USA, where the founder is currently based. As expected, most of its users are Nigerian and the visits (according to alexa) has about 90% hit from Nigeria.

I joined the network in February same month it was launched, and since then I have been visiting by and by. With general common features of SNS present on the site (Picture upload, Friends Network, Forum,Events, Clubs, Blog etc).

The site is bubbling up and has enjoyed repeated visits from its users. One of its lovely feature weekly update that is sent to users’ email, this make the user stay connected to the happening on the site.
