nigeria communication commission

As Nigerians catches the Twitter fire, the Nigerian Communication Commission (Regulator authority) as opened a twitter account. Available via @ngcomcommission

Twitter is a microblogging platform that helps you say what’s on your mind in 140 characters.

A visit to the twitter page of the commission, I saw no tweet, I think they can tweet something, how about recent growth in Mobile users?

It’s a welcome development though as I hope that companies and Government ministries get used to social media.

  • tnx for dropping by. We will up our ante to cover as much ground as possible. For the main time, our focus is on Nigerian internet industry and trends worldwide.

As much as we know that it also key to our development as a nation, we would work more on it.

    thank you.

This is nice, but on the other hand the twitter handle is really cumbersome. Could have being something like @nccnigeria or something more similar and straight forward.

But its ok, glad to follow them. ;)
