#NigeriaDecides Tech Meetup 2; A Review of How Technology Aided Transparent Elections in Nigeria

Back in October 16th 2010, we had a meetup to discuss how we could use technology to bring about transparent and credible elections in Nigeria. Creative ideas were brought to fore and people actually went ahead to work on the it. The result; ReVoDa! A mobile app that helps to people report situations in the polling unit and also request for help as they need. The application was super successful as Nigeria in more than 27 states sent in reports of what was going on in their states. I call that impact!

The elections so far has been said to be the most transparent in the history of Nigeria. And we are glad we played a roll! So, come April 30th 2011; we want to review what we discussed, implement and how things went generally. We want to review roles technology played in the past elections and what role it could play in future elections.
