Nigerian Celebrities Lead Nigerians on Twitter

We intend to make sense from Nigerian social media usage and we start this month to analyze social media use of Nigerians. The task is cumbersome but with our commitment we will get to bring more Nigerian stats online.

Nigerians Celebrities on Twitter

It’s good to note that twitter usage is on the rise in Nigeria. With twitter’s flexibility, it’s given people opportunity to get connected to the platform. Celebs under our studies are the ones based in Nigeria and have more than 200 followers or tweets. Most Nigeria celebs in our study;

  1. Most use their Blackberry mobiles to tweet
  2. Ubertwitter is popular amongst the celebs
  3. Celebs are high-connected to each others on twitter
  4. They get connected with fans on the platform
  5. Shares their location, plans and feelings each day
  6. Celebs are getting more involved in social movement in the country (LightupNigeria, EnoughisEnough etc)
  7. Tegamohits, is the most active celebrity in terms of updates
  8. Faze is the least active celeb on twitter.

    Hello, for now there is no such information about Nigeria. We currently have information on facebook stats and demography. We are currently working on ways to bring the twitter's stats. tnx for dropping.
