Nigerian Startup raised 1.3Billion, DealDey gets 150million expands to Abuja
We keep combing the startup ecosystem to find out how much money is coming into the industry and how start-ups are innovating. We got information from a reliable source that investment of 8.5 million Dollars was made by Sweden-based Kinnevik investment company.
The investment we were told was made into E-motion advertising, a leading technology-driven advertising company based in Lagos. A good chunk of the money, 150million is going into DealDey, a leading Nigeria Group-buying and deal site. The startup recently expanded its operation to the Federal Capital, Abuja after it has successfully overtaken Lagos state. As we were told, the fund will help it take up more state and bring more offers to its growing customer base.
So, does that mean, more deals for more states?
