Nigerians Take over Twitter … #abaversion

Nigerians on the internet currently stands at 11 million and growing. Social media growth in Nigeria is also on the high as number of Nigerians on Facebook is almost 1 million. Twitter growth in Nigeria is also massive as its mostly used by Nigerian artiste and tech people. And among most visited sites in Nigeria.

Today Wednesday February 3, the impact of Nigerian on twitter is now being felt. The hashtag #abaversion is the handle Nigerians use on Twitter today. This is not the first time Nigerians will take on twitter, it was used to raise awareness for poor eletricity supply in the country last year.
