Startupsnigeria.com Shutdown

It’s amazing and embarassing that Someone could  (within his power) shutdown one of Nigeria’s top blog sites. As i came online yesterday just to have a feel (as usual) from startupsnigeria.com I was redirected to the suspended page of http://careersnigeria.com/suspended.page/ . I was wondering if I was on the right site, I checked my spellings very well then realized it was for real.

I the last barcamp Nigeria, I chatted with Loy Okezie and I learnt He works with Crexia, onwer of Careersnigeria.com. Also check his tweets on Twitter.com/startupsnigeria and saw the glimps of the matter. I understood that Vic Okezie (Sibling of Loy) is the owner of careersnigeria.com and obviously there is a bef between the two. I mailed Loy and He said it was “conflict of interest” that has made the site grounded for about 24hours now.

Whatever happened, firstly I will plead with Vic to restore the site cause it has affected a whole lot of people. I will also urge Loy to solve whatever problem he’s having with Vic and get this working again. Then he can make necessary relocation to another server.

Misunderstanding does happens but we should try to not make them get to this level.

What is your take about what just happened?… drop a comment below.
