The new partnership aims to leverage their combined vision, resources, and networks in an effort to connect aspiring entrepreneurs in Africa with the skills, knowledge and connections needed to develop, grow and scale their business. More importantly, the partnership aims to promote social entrepreneurship by making it easier for the entrepreneurs to find the investors who may be looking for them.

The union between VC4Africa.com and Appafrica.com is a birth of a new era, making the Fund available for tech-ideas is very important and we hope to see and feel the impact this milestone will have on the African websphere.

VC4africa.com is a social community of Venture Capitalist (VC) and Tech-preneurs, linking the fund to the idea is their ultima aim and over couple of months they have been able to make the dreams of African entrepreneurs possible.

AppAfrica.com on the other hand is; “Appfrica.org facilitates, mentors and incubates entrepreneurs in software in East Africa and Uganda. It offers a physical space with a solid internet connection, servers, software and computers that allows students and recent graduates a place to develop their ideas in a constructive environment with industry professionals as mentors outside of school. Entrepreneur projects are refined and prepped to help them secure funding and launch sustainable, profitable businesses. This project, loosely modeled after Paul Graham’s Y Combinator, is better known as Appfrica Labs.”
